Specials, Promotions, and Coupons That Leverage the Power of Smartphones and Social Networks

Connecting with a customer on their mobile device is one of the best things a business can do to drive repeat sales from their existing customers. Today’s smartphone’s are more connected than ever and even allow businesses to update content anytime as well as take advantage of push notifications and badge alerts.

When we were designing the Appticity Solution, we spent a lot of time thinking about how to businesses and consumers are using social networks.  The fact is, businesses are using Facebook to create great Fan Pages and using both Twitter and Facebook to create promotions, specials and coupons.  This approach is fast, free, and connected but the output tends to get lost in the clutter of these activity streams.

So, we took fast, free, and connected (how could anyone compete with that) and allow businesses to integrate their activity streams directly into a Special, Promotion, and Coupon section of their iPhone App.  This can be accomplished via a Twitter, Facebook, or RSS Feed.
